Dinner and Discussion Group
The group aims to provide a forum for gay men who are either fathers or want to be fathers to connect formally over a discussion topic and then informally over dinner. The discussion topics vary from bi-month to bi-month and aim to cover a broad set of issues for gay men who are already fathers or would like to become a fathers.
Usually the dinner provides a chance to mix with guys informally to understand the different ways that fatherhood is possible if you are gay.
We have dads from straight relationships, dads from co-parenting arrangements, dads from surrogacy arrangements, dads from fostering and even some dads that have come close to adoption or a form of adoption.
The group meets every second Tuesday of every second month and the next meeting is due in November 2009.
